ユング心理学１２の元型では、統治者・創造者・無法者に相当する元型です。

人々を導くリーダーのような人を表します。リーダーとして、時には冒険家、そして創造者になります。つまり、とても行動力があるのです。しかし、集団になると騒ぎ、無法者になる場合があります。また、悪知恵が働くのも天狗の一面です。

太郎坊天狗に代表される鼻高天狗、烏天狗の話が有名です。

鼻高天狗は、愛宕山太郎坊天狗、鞍馬天狗など日本八天狗に代表される大天狗です。

烏天狗は、山伏装束で烏のような顔をした天狗で、小天狗とも呼ばれます。

Conductive type

In the 12 archetypes of Jungian psychology, this archetype corresponds to the ruler, creator, and outlaw.

It represents a leader-like person who guides people. As a leader, they can sometimes be adventurers and creators. In other words, they are very active. However, when in a group, they can become rowdy and outlaws. Another side of Tengu is their cunning.

The stories of the tall-nosed Tengu, represented by Tarobo Tengu, and the crow Tengu are famous.

The tall-nosed Tengu is a great Tengu, represented by the Atagoyama Tarobo Tengu and Kurama Tengu, among the eight Tengu of Japan.

The crow Tengu is a Tengu with a crow-like face who wears the attire of a mountain ascetic, and is also called a small Tengu.
